— Сердце обливается кровью, милый барон, когда посмотришь на этих несчастных страдальцев! Посудите, как, должно быть, тяжело им ездить на этих отвратительных извозчиках, на этой безобразной конке! Сколько мук и неудовлетворенных желаний. Бедные! А как тяжело, должно быть, пешком ходить! Поневоле станешь вольнодумкой, глядя на этих несчастных! Нет, барон, необходимы реформы и немедленные реформы! Нужно, чтобы все эти несчастные могли ездить в таких экипажах! Не знаю, чего это печать молчит!
