Searching: The CD-ROM allows you to restrict your search to an individual section (introduction, diplomatic text, normalized text, index) or to search across all sections. Searches include:

• volume and title
• manuscript date
• personal names
• group searches - e.g. for type of text (manuscript, typescript etc.)
• proximity and wildcard searches - (in the full text and language indexes only)
• English, French and Latin words - (in the normalized text)
