The following list represents the Past Masters titles which are of interest to scholars and students in the History and Philosophy of Science broadly conceived. Thus, we have included Hume, Kant, Fichte, Marx and Engels, Hegel, and Wittgenstein in this list because, while not strictly philosophers of science nor scientists per se (understood in the current senses of these terms), their contributions to scientific thinking and method are still viewed as significant in many circles.
