| Series
Editors: John Hooker and Peter Madsen
Orientation: Each volume in this series
contains a selection of papers originally presented at the
Conference on International Corporate Responsibility, an
event sponsored every two years by the Carnegie Bosch
Institute for Applied Studies in International Management
and the Center for International Corporate Responsibility at
Carnegie Mellon University. The field of international
corporate responsibility has emerged as an important
subfield of business ethics in response to increasing
concerns about the ethical conduct of international
businesses. The purpose of these conferences is to generate
intensive discussions among prominent scholars from many
countries of codes of business conduct for multinational
enterprises, socially responsible investing, corporate
reputation and globalization, corporate responsibility and
environmental issues, investment in developing economies,
and responsible marketing.
