There was a regular crush, at Lady Hothams last night, and so many hideous specimens of humanity (or rather inhumanity!) I have rarely seen brought into one focus; pre eminent among the Griffens were Lady Henley! (Sir Robert Peels sister, and the image of her sister the late Mrs George Dawson, always considered the ugliest woman in London) next came Lady Chantry!! ye gods! goblins!
