POIESIS
POIESIS CD-ROM Archive Collection

In Greek, poiesis means "making" or "producing," and refers to an activity that results in the creation of a product. This term is particularly fitting for a project that will demand continuous activity for years to come as new issues are added to the database, and as back issues are converted from print to electronic format. 

These archive collections are available on CD-ROM with licenses for private use by individuals, public use on a LAN within a building and for campus-wide network access. The cost is a fraction of what it would be to purchase the back issues in print. And the VIEWS search engine transforms each collection into a reference tool in itself.
