Orientation: These peer-reviewed volumes
contain a selection of the papers presented at the International
Social Philosophy Conference, an annual event held under
the auspices of the North American Society for Social Philosophy.
The purpose of these meetings is to bring together leading
social philosophers, political scientists, lawyers, and
social scientists from North America and other parts of
the world to discuss major issues of contemporary concern.
Each conference is organized around a set of problems of
concern to people in different parts of the world and the
content of each volume in the series reflects the thematic
organization of these meetings.
